Since 1999, Grand River Mutual has awarded 175 grants to deserving community organizations in its serving territory. To apply for a GRM Community Improvement Grant, download an application below or stop by any Grand River Mutual business office and pick up an application. The deadlines for Community Improvement Grant Applications for 2012 are:
1st Quarter: March 31, 2012
2nd Quarter: June 30, 2012
3rd Quarter: September 30, 2012
4th Quarter: December 31, 2012

2011 Grant Recipients
Grand River Mutual has announced the 1st Quarter 2012 Community Improvement Grant Program recipients. They are as follows:
- Jamesport Fire and Rescue received $500 to help finish the inside of the new fire station.
- Decatur County Fair Board received $250 to help purchase bleachers for the fair grounds in Leon, IA.
- Chula Community Center was awarded $500 to help with the window and door replacement project.
