2014 Grant Recipients
GRM Networks has announced the 2nd Quarter 2014 Community Improvement Grant Program recipients. They are as follows:
The Decatur County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) will spend their $500 grant on two-way radios. The Decatur County CERT program is available to provide emergency response training and respond to emergencies within Decatur County, IA, and surrounding areas.
The Calamity Jane Players of Princeton, MO, will use their $500 grant to repair the local theater building which was damaged during a recent storm.
The Northwest Region Workforce Investment Board/NCMC will apply their $250 grant towards the upcoming Certified Work Ready Communities Summit. The meeting will be held in Trenton, MO, on September 9, 2014, and will focus on driving economic growth within an 18 county region of Northwest Missouri.
The deadline for 3rd Quarter Grant Applications is September 30, 2014.
