ANSWER: DVR stands for “Digital Video Recorder.” A DVR allows you to record TV programs to your Skitter TV set-top box.

With Skitter TV DVR, you can:

  1. Quickly and easily record your favorite shows.
  2. Automatically record every new episode of your favorite shows.
  3. Pause and rewind live TV.
  4. Record one show while watching another.

DVR service is available with Skitter TV for an additional $12.95 per month, and Whole Home DVR service is available for an additional $14.95 per month.

QUESTION: How do I know if Skitter TV is available in my area?
ANSWER: Call our offices in Princeton at 1-800-451-2301, in Bethany at 1-800-551-1930 or in Leon at 1-800-551-1940 and speak with a Customer Service Representative.

QUESTION: Why can’t I see some major league baseball or professional football games?
ANSWER: Skitter TV has no control over the blackout of professional sports broadcasts. The rules for blackouts are complex; please refer to http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/help/faq_blackout.jsp for baseball and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Football_League_television_blackout_policies for football.

QUESTION: Do your technicians calibrate televisions?
ANSWER: No, they do not.

QUESTION: Will CAT-5 or CAT-6 work for Skitter TV service?
ANSWER: Yes, indoor CAT-5 or CAT-6 wiring will support Skitter TV service.

QUESTION: Must I have phone and Internet service to have Skitter TV?
ANSWER: All Skitter TV plans require a landline connection. Non-Internet customers must pay a $21 per month DSL charge.
