GRM Networks participated in Farm Safety Day at the University of Missouri’s College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources MU Forage Systems Research Center near Linneus, Missouri.

One hundred twenty students from Linn County R-1, Brookfield R-3 and Meadville R-4 schools had a packed schedule, learning about aspects of farm safety including: electrical, PTO, ATV/UTV and lawn mower. The students also learned to identify noxious weeds and about weather safety on the farm.

Logan Stiles, Network Administrator at GRM Networks, spoke about farm safety in relation to buried fiber. He also discussed cybersecurity, the importance of securing one’s online identity and staying safe online.

GRM Networks appreciates the opportunity to educate students on the importance of fiber technology and cybersecurity. If you would like to have GRM Networks visit your school, contact Carol Hein at 660-748-2135.
