Fiber-to-the-Premise Construction Update

August 1, 2022

For many of us our focus this month shifts to back to school, fairs, last minute vacations and the return of fall sports. Here at GRM Networks, our focus continues with our pledge to bring fiber to all customers. Crews are working to complete construction in the Spickard exchange while beginning cutovers in the rural Bethany exchange.Fiber-to-the-premise construction is underway in the exchanges of Sheridan and Cainsville, Missouri. Customers will see construction equipment moving along the roads in these exchanges. Contractors will be contacting customers about placing a new service drop to their home or business to replace the existing copper drop. The contractor working in the Sheridan exchange is North Missouri Construction from Chillicothe, Missouri, and the contractor working in the Cainsville exchange is H&D Underground from Sleepy Eye, Minnesota. This cable construction should be completed in early fall and is one of the steps that must be completed before the fiber telephone and internet are functional.

We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to fulfill our pledge to bring fiber to all customers. Thank you for allowing us into your homes and businesses to serve you. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have questions or concerns please contact the Bethany business office at 800-551-1930 or the Princeton business office at 800-451-2301.

Fiber-to-the-Premise Construction Update

July 1, 2022

Summer is in full swing here at GRM Networks as fiber-to-the-premise construction continues. Construction crews have now completed building fiber in the rural Princeton exchange, and the rural Bethany and Spickard exchanges are nearing completion. Customers in the Cainsville and Sheridan exchanges have seen construction begin.

We also celebrate progress as our members in the exchanges of Grand River, Blockton and rural Princeton have all been cut over to their new fiber services over the last few months. These customers are now experiencing the benefits of faster broadband speeds with greater opportunities for telehealth, precision agriculture, distance working and remote learning. Fiber cutovers for Spickard customers have now begun, and Bethany customers will soon follow.

We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to fulfill our pledge to bring fiber to all customers. Thank you for allowing us into your homes and businesses to serve you. Fiber-to-the-Premise Construction Update

April 4, 2022

Spring is an exciting time because, weather permitting, contractors working on behalf of GRM Networks will resume construction in the rural Bethany exchange this month for fiber-to-the-premise upgrades.

Construction in the Spickard exchange is also expected to be completed soon and will then be followed by the cutover process with technician appointments at each customer location to switch the service from the old copper to the new fiber. It is anticipated that cutovers for the Princeton exchange will be completed this spring. Of course, weather plays a huge role in our progress, but we are excited about the opportunities to complete these construction projects as well as begin construction in the Sheridan exchange.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to bring fiber optic connectivity and innovative technological services to our service areas. Customers in these exchanges will receive information about the new fiber network once their cutover begins.

GRM Networks anticipates contractors and employees to be in these areas over the next several months. Throughout the construction process, GRM Networks strives to return all disturbed areas to their original condition. Please be aware it is unlawful to remove the utility markers required for construction.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have questions or concerns please contact the Bethany business office at 800-551-1930 or the Princeton business office at 800-451-2301.
